2024-25 School Year

Due to a high volume of inquiries, emails and phone calls regarding student parking may not be returned if they are seeking additional parking options for students not listed here.

Parking for students for the 2024-25 school year will be available at one location only:

Jones Park Lot | Address: 100 Holland Dr, Chapel Hill, 27514

This location is a 30-minute walk from campus, 15-20-minute bus ride.  It is ideal for vehicle storage but not practical for those needing daily access to a vehicle.

The rate is $600/semester with an up-front, non-refundable payment required for the year (2 x $600 = $1,200).

The link to the application will be posted here at May 13, 2024 at 9:00 am.  The application is first-come, first-served and will close when full.

Submitting your application includes an agreement to pay, so you are strongly encouraged to visit the location in-person first to ensure it is acceptable to you.

The Town will not be offering leased parking of any other kind for students.  Leased parking downtown is for business use only.  If you are not eligible for parking through UNC or residential parking through the Town of Chapel Hill, please note that you may be without parking options and that the Town cannot provide any other assistance.
